Alex duplicates herself to attend a special sale as well as wizard class, but her plan backfires when Max gets his new wand and tests it on Alex's replica. Meanwhile, Max and Justin struggle to cover for Alex while she's at the sale as do Alex and Harper since Theresa has gone to the sale too.
2 "First Kiss" October 19, 2007
Justin tries to get his first kiss with Miranda but he couldn't get it right , Alex tries to help him . While Max try to remember the sandwich that he had made for the " New York Mets".
3 "I Almost Drowned in a Chocolate Fountain" October 26, 2007
Alex tattles on her brothers for playing paintball after Justin tells about her failure on her Spanish test. To get revenge, her brothers gave chocolate to the pocket elf who helped her during a make-up test and create massive mayhem as she receives an extreme craving for chocolate.
4 "New Employee" November 2, 2007
Alex uses magic to improve Harper's waitressing abilities after she is hired at the Waverly Sub Station and performs lousily. After persuading her parents to let Harper be in charge the next day, Alex suggest to Harper they cut work causing an argument between the two and a rift in their friendship. Meanwhile, Justin starts a tutoring service and has problems with his rival, Frankie.

5 "Disenchanted Evening" November 9, 2007
Alex meets another wizard, T.J. Taylor, who is allowed unlimited use of his magic abilities by his parents, which is what Alex wants from her more conservative parents. She invites T.J. in hopes he'll convince her parents who magically charms them into allowing free willing magic. Meanwhile, Max has trouble on his Mars project.

6 "You Can't Always Get What You Carpet" November 10, 2007
Alex stumbles upon her dad's old magic carpet and convinces her dad to give her flying lessons. Having treated Alex as his little girl all her life he gets upset while teaching her how to fly. Meanwhile, Justin "mans" up his room after his dad pastes up flower wallpaper.

7 "Alex's Choice" November 16, 2007
Gigi invites Alex and Harper to her annual tea party which Alex tries to convince Harper not to go to. Alex learns that Gigi plans to embarrass Harper, so she uses her magic to get back at her and save Harper from humiliation. Meanwhile, Justin and Max send out prank mail, including one where they claim they're lost on an island in "The Lava Sea," and they receive unwanted help from emergency wizards.

8 "Curb Your Dragon" November 30, 2007
Alex buys Justin an enchanted dragon disguised as a Beagle, because she felt bad she had lost his other dog, Willie, years ago. However, since it can still breathe fire and fly they have to hide from their parents that the dog is a dragon saying it's a lost dog and gluing up posters. One day, while they're at school, the dragon seller comes back, claims the dog and enters it in the local dog show where Alex, Justin, and Max must outsmart the dragon seller and retrieve Dragon back.

9 "Movies" December 14, 2007
Tired of being treated young, Alex wants to go to an R-rated movie with Justin's friends and accidentally transports herself into the movie. When Justin finds out, he transports himself into the movie to save her. Meanwhile, Theresa treats Max like he's a little kid, because she thinks Alex and Justin are growing up too fast.

10 "Pop Me and We Both Go Down" January 6, 2008
When Justin gets a big zit on his forehead right before the school dance, Alex tries to get rid of it and accidentally uses the animation spell on it causing Justin to face trouble his zit gets him into at the dance. Meanwhile, Alex searches for her father's trophy she also accidentally animated so she can learn the reversal spell to unanimate Justin's zit.

11 "Potion Commotion" February 10, 2008
Justin wants to be chosen for the World School Summit at the U.N., but he faces tough competition from a popular classmate Alex is infatuated with. Alex plans to use a love potion to make him fall in love with her also helping Justin to sabotage his meeting, but she accidentally drinks both halves of it, causing Alex to fall in love with herself. Max gets his full powers and must wear a goofy hat to control them while his powers settle in, but due to Alex drinking both halfs of the potion she also needs the hat to avoid having a big head.

12 "Justin's Little Sister" March 9, 2008
When everyone constantly compares Alex to Justin, Alex uses a magical genie to wish that she would no longer be compared to him, but when the Genie cons her and makes everyone forget him, Alex has to try to reverse the spell.
13 "Wizard School - Part 1" April 6, 2008
Jerry and Theresa send Alex and Justin to a wizard school called Wiz Tech over the summer. While Justin excels, Alex has a little trouble. Meanwhile, Max and Jerry go on a camp-out on the terrace.

14 "Wizard School - Part 2" April 6, 2008
Alex tries to stop an evil teacher from draining Justin's powers during a school tournament. Meanwhile, a woman tries to run the Waverly Sub Station out of business by advertising a restaurant called The Salad Bowl.

15 "The Supernatural" May 18, 2008
Justin uses magic to land a spot on the school's baseball team so he can impress a girl. Meanwhile, Alex tries to impress Riley by making him think she's the teams good luck charm, when she learns he's also on the team.

16 "Alex in the Middle" June 15, 2008
Jerry's zany brother, Kelbo Russo, visits, and after showing a different style of wizard training (actually letting them use their powers), Alex wants to make Kelbo her teacher. However, their lesson turns into a mess and Jerry has to save Alex and Kelbo revealing a secret about Jerry.

17 "Report Card" June 29, 2008
Alex, Justin, and Max get their wizard report cards. To hide the fact that she did not do well, Alex tries to destroy the report card. In a panic, Alex turns her parents into guinea pigs.
18 "Credit Check" July 6, 2008
Alex's keen fashion sense leads her to begin an internship with a fashion magazine, but her employer takes credit for all of her ideas. She then plans a fashion show with Harper's distasteful clothing style to take revenge on him. Meanwhile, Justin tries to impress the new girl working at the Sub Station.
19 "Alex's Spring Fling" July 20, 2008
Riley breaks up with Alex seeing she is jealous all the time. She plans to make him jealous and transforms a mannequin into a man with the animation spell naming him Manny Kin. However, he falls in love with her and develops emotions, which prevents Alex from being able to change Manny back into a mannequin. Alex then tries to make Manny fall in love with Calico Woman, Justin's precious action figure by animating her too. Riley realizes that he himself got jealous and decided to go back with Alex. Meanwhile, Justin is left in charge of the house when his parents go out of town and his position of authority goes to his head.
20 "Quinceañera" August 10, 2008
The family prepares for Alex's quinceañera, a traditional celebration to mark her 15th birthday, but she doesn't want to wear the customary frilly ball gown and casts a spell to swap bodies with her mother, who never had a quinceañera of her own. Also, joining in the party is Grandma Magdalena, who tries to teach the boys how to salsa dance. But she soon forgets to teach the boys so they use the Body Switching spell with the dance instructors to make it look like they had learned the dance. In the end, Alex does make it back to her body before sundown, and Grandma Magdalena finds the magic Lair but doesn't discover what room it is.

21 "Art Museum Piece" August 31, 2008
When Alex decides to take a shortcut on her Art History assignment, she brings historical masterpieces to life in order to answer questions on her worksheet correctly. Meanwhile, Max and Jerry play football in the house using a spell which spreads to Theresa.

Episode 1 - Franken Girl

Justin is irritated that Alex keeps going into his room and getting stuff without permission. To prevent this from happening in the future, he creates Franken-girl. He uses his laptop's motherboard (Max was supposed to get him a brain, but wasted the money on a keychain), but his plan back fires when Alex shuts Franken-Girl down. Justin uses a spell to make Franken-girl Alex's best friend, but again his plan backfires when Alex and Franken-girl become fast friends. He finally uses a spell to make Franken-girl a cheerleader, ending up with Alex finally have an extra-co curricular and being flown into the roof because of Franken Girl.

Episode 2 -Halloween

When the Waverly Place Merchant's Association confront the Russo's about not having an acceptable Haunted House every year, Alex and Harper go to the Ghost Realm to get ghosts, she get's a bunch of 'losers'. (Jerry told her to get 'mild' ghosts not 'super scary') Teressa, who's usually against using magic, asks Alex to go get much more scary ghosts, but when Alex returns to the realm, they are all gone, except for Mantooth and the ghost with his head separated from its body, getting candy. Alex gets Mantooth. The kids and Mr. Evans have already arrived at the Sub Station, and a few minutes later Alex arrives. Mantooth doesn't scare the children and Mr. Evans the first time, but the second time, all of them are scared (Mr. Evan calls it being scarred for life). He tells them that they can no longer have a haunted house, but at the end of the episode, the family and Harper are proud at what the got.

Episode 3 - Monster Hunter

Episode 4 - Three Monsters

Justin begins his Monster Hunting course and senses that there are three un-registered monsters on Waverly Place. Forgetting that Juliet and her family live there, he tells the professionals, and they come looking for her. Realising his mistake, Justin tries to fix it. Meanwhile, Max tries to separate himself from his conscience because he thinks that he's trying to steal his mom.

Episode 5- Night at the Laserama

Mr. Tootietootie tells Justin that a mummy that controls minds is loose. He and Juliet go to the museum and find the mummy. They end up getting trapped in an exhibit and they see the mummy. Because of the sunlight (vampires die because of sunlight), Justin decides that Juliet needs to look in the mummy's eyes to leave. She ends up leaving as the mummy's slave forever. Meanwhile, Alex separates Max from Conscience and Conscience becomes his own person, making Max make bad choices.

Scrubby dubby, into the tubby - Turns some one into a clothes washer. Argile bobby, tube knee high, into socks, turn this guy - turns someone into socks.

Episode 6 - Doll House

When Harper's family moves away, the Russo's invite Harper to live with them. When Alex has to clean out the basement for Harper, she finds her old dollhouse and shrinks herself to fit inside. But then her parents give the doll house away to a girl named Olive and with Alex is still inside!
